Calcium plays an important role in various processes in plants. It stabilizes cell walls, supports ionic reactions, influences growth hormones and regulates transport within the plant.

The Bio Nova Ca 15 contains no less than 15% (180 gr/l.) pure calcium and 3% nitrogen, together with trace elements such as iron, copper and manganese. Calcium is naturally present in cell walls and membranes and has a special function in ionic reactions in the plant. It is transported within the plant via the evaporative stream (xylem). In conditions with high humidity or in dense crops, a calcium deficiency can occur because the evaporation flow is limited. A calcium deficiency weakens the cell walls, which directly results in increased susceptibility to mold and the death of growing points and young leaves.

An excess of calcium can sometimes occur and can manifest itself in brown spots on leaves. That is why Bio Nova Ca 15 is a very pure product with a fast action that does not increase the pH value. It is economical in use and contains no less than 180 grams of pure lime per liter of liquid. In addition, it does not cause blockages or pollution.

The use of the Bio Nova Ca 15 is suitable for all cultivation media. A dosage of 1:1000 increases the calcium content by 3.2 mmol.

DOSAGE:
In combination with Hydro-, Soil-, Haze- and NFT-AQUA Supermix, 25-75 ml per 100 liters of nutrient solution can be used in areas with soft water. In periods of high humidity, 50 ml per 100 liters of nutrient solution can be dripped continuously.
