The General Electric Lucalox lamps offer a very high energy efficiency and have a long lifespan. In addition, they deliver excellent color performance and are very reliable. This makes the Lucalox series perfectly suitable for use in any fixture.

General Electric's high-pressure sodium lamps are made of tempered glass and have a clear tubular outer bulb. The aluminum oxide discharge tube ensures optimal performance. These lamps can be used in combination with standard 600 Watt ballasts.

The Lucalox series is completely lead-free and has a very high light efficiency. This means that the lamps convert more energy into light, resulting in a high number of lumens.

It is important to know that high pressure lamps will provide less light over time. After approximately 2500 to 3000 burning hours, the light intensity decreases significantly. Although the lamps are still suitable for use, yields will decrease significantly after these hours. This can amount to as much as 30% to 50%! It is therefore strongly recommended to replace the lamps after approximately 3000 hours. The costs for this certainly outweigh the extra revenue.
